Booms Lands On FSR

As rumored earlier here on OMW, Euclid's Chuck Booms has officially landed with a regular shift at his old home - the Fox Sports Radio network.

FSR's brand new schedule, released just Monday, lists him as the host of "Fox NFL GameTime Rewind" on Sunday nights from 11 PM to 2 AM. It's hardly a prime-time gig...but it gets him regular on-air exposure SOMEWHERE, at any rate.

Booms is best known in radio for his stint as FSR afternoon drive co-host with partner Kevin Kiley ("Kiley and Booms"). As reported here earlier, the pair recently did some fill-in at Philadelphia's legendary sports talker, WIP/610. And Booms' most recent local appearance was as one of the "auditioning" hosts on WTAM/1100's mid-morning show.

His new gig on FSR may be heard in parts of the area on the network's Elyria affiliate WEOL/930, though WEOL's nighttime pattern mainly serves Lorain and Medina counties. We're also not sure if WEOL is running FSR on Sunday nights. FSR affiliate WJMP/1520 Kent is not even close to being on the air during his program, being a daytimer...
