OMW hears that Dover's WJER-FM 101.7 has officially signed off the air, after a day and change airing a loop with staff members urging listeners to tune to WJER(AM) 1450.
The AM frequency continues the programming that had been simulcasted on both frequencies the past few months...and as reported earlier, the 101.7 frequency is expected to return to the airwaves sometime after the first of the year from its new Canton transmitter site with...a new format...

Don't forget to mention new call signs either ;)
Much like the loop, the white noise is now much more tolerable than the Subway hump day office of the day trivia contest.
One thing we won't hear...Gary Petricola!!!! This is your radio station!
Please Dont---you must have listened to them alot to be so in tune with the names of their contests and everything!
The Gary Petricola this is your radio station should play on 1450AM now since it is really his again.
I'll remind you technically its not his...yet. He has signed an agreement, and its been filed, but WJER-AM is still owned by CC Licenses, LLC.
Now just throwing this out there...
wouldn't it be funny if the community filed objections to the FCC for the transfer of the license back to Petrocola? After all, he's the one that started this whole process that ends with 101.7 leaving town. Why should he get to keep it? Write 5 Letters and you've beaten the number of complaints on the FM moving. (only 4 complaints)
just thinkin out loud.....
How can you find out how many complaints have been filed???
